My areas of expertise include bariatric surgery, laparoscopic reflux surgery, upper GI cancer surgery and endoscopy.
I qualified in medicine in 1984 and trained in London and Leeds. I later did a fellowship in Bariatric (Obesity) and advanced Laparoscopic surgery in Liverpool. I did further surgical fellowships in Japan and Australia before settling in at University Hospitals of North Midlands in Stoke on Trent, Staffs. I have a special interest in obesity and keyhole surgery and have performed over 300 laparoscopic bariatric operations.
